About our foodbank

Here is an introduction to our project.

Horsham District Foodbank is run by Horsham Matters; supported by churches; companies and individuals; working together to stop hunger. The Foodbank network started in 2014 and is constantly evolving to meet the needs of our residents. We have a range of provision including supermarket style Foodbanks; our Hub-on-the-Move (mobile foodbank) our pay-it-forward Connecting Café and starting during November 2022, Warm-Spaces.

Clients are issued with a unique voucher code either directly by Horsham Matters or through their partner agencies such as Citizens Advice.

Clients will be able to select food they would like using a shopping list and whenever possible we will provide fresh food too.

We support clients with referrals to other agencies as well as our in-house services such as budgeting; debt; benefits and counselling support. Please do contact our team on 0300 1240204 if you are interested in any of the above.

The data contained within the vouchers is securely fed back to the Trussell Trust; they use this information to campaign at a national level
